As we discussed in another news article just recently, it may be that Star Trek – Infinite Space may not leave port after all. Due to some internal issues at publishers Gameforge, the future of the upcoming free-to-play MMORPG has been somewhat uncertain.

Today, it was announced that the planned Closed Beta testing phase of Star Trek – Infinite Space has been put on hold. However, there was no information as to how long this will be. Trekkies and MMORPG fans alike will just have to sit back and wait to see how it all pans out.
